Hey! I'm Andre.

StructuralDesign&Analysis

I like fast cars and fast planes.

I enjoy solving tough engineering problems.

My focus is design, structural analysis, and composite structures.

More about Andre

Andre Azevedo sitting in the cockpit of a historic aircraft

My name is Andre, and I was born and raised in a small group of islands called the Azores in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I'm currently a graduate student at KTH studying Aerospace Engineering. I completed my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. For most of my time there, I was part of the MAC Formula Electric team, where I worked on the chassis, aerospace, and vehicle dynamics subteams. I also completed a 16-month internship at Liburdi, where I worked on repairing turbine components for companies such as Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney. Before that, I completed a 4-month internship at CERC@MARC, supporting graduate students at McMaster with their research.
